Braeview Bed & Breakfast was designed exclusively for adult couples and as such can only accommodate one couple per room. Bathrobes, port & chocolates, scrumptious breakfasts and food platters are just a few of the delights you will be indulged with while staying with us. We have lush gardens for you to enjoy, open fireplaces or wood combustion fires to keep you warm and cosy in winter, and air conditioning to cool you off in summer.

Our B&B is a smoke-free environment and for the comfort of all guests, there is a no shoe policy in the main residence. We are confident your stay with us will lure you back to the High Country again and again.

A "bed & breakfast" definition

Staying at a B&B is a very individual experience; no two are exactly the same each one is different and individual with its own ambience, facilities, location and experiences to savour.

Each host will be different; the great majority of hosts are in the industry because they like meeting and hosting people, with most traditional Bed & Breakfast accommodation, remember your host is opening up their own personal home please treat this with the respect it deserves.

Breakfasts are a large part of staying at a B&B and can range from a continental breakfast with cereal, fruit, toast tea and coffee, to cooked breakfasts with the standard bacon and eggs or extravagant affairs and a-la-carte breakfast menus.

Alternatively in self-contained B&B accommodation containing cooking facilities, a breakfast hamper or basket will usually be supplied with your breakfast ingredients ready for you to prepare your own breakfast.

Make use of your hosts' local knowledge — it can be invaluable to you; in helping you discover that out-of-the-way winery or secret picnic spot beside the river!
